Ayahs/Hadiths About Patience

The Blessed Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah the Exalted says 'I have no reward other than Paradise for a believing slave of mine who remains patient for My sake when I take away his beloved one from among the inhabitants of the world'."

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ashari: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "None is more patient than Allah against the harmful and annoying words He hears (from the people): They ascribe children to Him, yet He bestows upon them health and provision.

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Allah says, 'I have nothing to give but Paradise as a reward to my believer slave, who, if I cause his dear friend (or relative) to die, remains patient (and hopes for Allah's Reward)."

O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salât (the prayer). Truly! Allâh is with As-Sâbirûn (the patient).
